- Description
- The Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Medicare Prescription Drug and Modernization Act of 2003 (MMA) Section 306 Audit Recovery Demonstration Contracts. The contractors are to provide recovery audit services to identify underpayments and overpayments and recoup overpayments under the Medicare program for services for which payment is made under Part A or B of title XVIII of the Social Security Act. The Government anticipates awarding a three-year contract. The required service is defined as code 541611 under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). It is anticipated that there will be multiple awards of Contingency Fee contracts will be awarded as a result of the RFP for a period of three years. This requirement is being solicited as full and open competition. This announcement is not a request for proposals (RFP). The RFP will be available on or about October 15, 2004 and will be made available electronically at this address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Only electronic copies of the solicitation will be available. The closing date will be approximately 30 days after issuance of the RFP. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the site for amendments to the solicitation.
