- Bechtel Hanford, Inc. (BHI) is seeking preliminary information on interested small business firms for bidding on environmental remediation construction work for the first half of Fiscal Year (FY) 2005. The range of magnitude for projects is between $3 million and $18 million. Small, small disadvantaged, small women-owned, Hubzone, veteran-owned, and service-disabled veteran owned businesses may team with other firms in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations, 13 CFR 121, "Small Business Size Regulations". BHI encourages interested firms to submit a letter of interest which should include as a minimum the following: *Business qualifications in the area of environmental remediation projects *Financial strength including Bonding capability *Potential teaming arrangements with other firms including large businesses *History of Safe Work - EMR less than 1 *Work experience in radiation areas & hazardous waste handling *Engineering Capabilitiess *Qualifications to NAICS 562910 Remediation Services - 500 employees or less Please send a brief letter expressing your interest and relevant qualifications to supplierforum@bhi-erc.com by October 17, 2004.
