- Description
- USCIS has a requirement for the removal and disposal of 662 fingerprinting systems from 134 CONUS and OCONUS locations, with performance to begin August 30, 2004. USCIS intends to issue a sole source with Visionics Incorporated, located in Minnetonka, MN for these services. The requirement includes dismantling the systems, degaussing hard drives, removing the systems from the sites, and disposal. Complete destruction of the systems is required in compliance with all applicable EPA and state regulations for disposal of electronic hazardous waste material. The systems are located at USCIS sites in 50 states (including Alaska and Hawaii) and Guam, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and St. Croix. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all capability statements received within 7 days of this posting. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
