- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is not a small business set-aside; any responsible source may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M67400-04-T-0921 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-11. The North American Industry Classification System code is 326299. The business size standard is NTE 5.0 million. The agency need is for: Butyl rubber storing system. Completely sealed shelter that changes the environment of the asset being stored and prevents humidity and sun damage to the items stored inside. The system consists of a base mat cover, and sealing ring system. Easily deployable, little training required, low maintenance, and is completely reusable. The system has a perimeter tube design that prevents humidity from entering the system. Warranted for defects for five (5) years. DELIVERY: Shall be FOB Destination to Defense Distribution San Joaquin Tracy Depot Bldg 30 CCP, 25600 Chrisman Road, Tracy, CA 95376. Orders placed against this Contract are expected to be delivered within 60 days after the order is placed with the successful offeror. SOLICITATION PROVISIONS: The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Jan 2004). FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999); the following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Past Performance, Technical, and Price. Past Performance information: Offerors shall provide a list of the most recent and relevant past and present contracts performed for National, State/Prefecture, and /or City agencies and commercial customers within the last three years. Each offeror shall furnish the following information for each of these most recent contracts: Agency/company/division name, service(s) provided, Contracting Agency, contract number, contract value, period of performance, name, address, fax number and telephone number of the Contracting Officer/ responsible procurement official. Award will be made on the basis of the most advantageous proposal meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards with technical being significantly more important than price and past performance.
