- JOB DESCRIPTION: SOURCES SOUGHT/NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT WITH ONE SOURCE. The proposed contract action is with San Francisco Estuary Institute (SFEI). The required services are to continue mercury monitoring on the Guadalupe River to comply with the projects 401 Water Certification Permit (Order No. 01-036). This work will include determining the processes of suspended sediment and mercury transport, magnitude of concentrations and loads of suspended sediment and total mercury in Guadalupe River at Highway 101 for the winter months of water year 2005; determining the relative contributions of dissolved mercury, total methyl mercury, and dissolved methyl to the total mercury load; and report the results in a written technical report and orally. Th e Government intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to San Francisco Estuary Institute.
