- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote solicitation number is M00681-04-T-0334. This solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24 and DCN 2004/06/25. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) rating for this order is DO-A70. The Regional Contracting Office, Southwest Camp Pendleton CA 92055 has a requirement for the following items: Contractor to provide full service, preventive maintenance service and repair service, for government owned handheld radios, mobile radios, and station radios located at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD), San Diego, CA, for a base year plus four (4) option years. The radio makes and model numbers are as follows: 15 each, Motorola Sabre I handheld radios (H44TUN5170CN); 4 each, Motorola Sabre III handheld radios (H44UK5170CN); 20 each Motorola Astro handheld radios (H04RDC9PW5AN); 10 each Spectra VHF mobile radios (D43KMA7JA5BK); 6 each Spectra UHF mobile radios (D44ZA5JC5AK); 2 each Spectra base station radios (L44ZXM517AM); 1 each Spectra mobile radio (DC7ZX+069). Evaluation of Quotes: The Government intends to make award to the Quoter who provides the best value to the Government, considering technical capability, past performance, and price. The following factors shall be used to evaluate Quoters: Technical capability, past performance, and price. Facsimile quotes are subject to the same rules as paper quotes. The telephone number of receiving facsimile equipment is 760-725-8445/4346. The government reserves the right to make award solely on the facsimile quote. The complete original quote shall be submitted if requested by the contracting officer. Quoters bear the burden of ensuring that quotes (and any authorized modifications) reach the designated office on time and should allow a reasonable time for facsimile transmissions to be completed. All pages of the quote must reach the office before the deadline specified i! n this solicitation. Pages of a facsimile transmission that arrive in the office after the specified deadline will not be considered. The quoter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmissions and should confirm by telephone that any facsimile was received. Any facsimile transmission must clearly state the solicitation number and the name of the contracting officer on the first page to ensure proper receipt. Award date is anticipated to be made on 15 September 2004.
