- Description
- The Government requires the following: A Firm, Fixed Price Supply type contract for one (1) Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Slant Bed Lathe, final set-up and operational test, 8 hours of training in operation, maintenance and trouble-shooting, and three (3) sets of technical manuals for Operators, Programmers, and Maintenance Personnel. Required Delivery Date is 120 days after receipt of order (ARO) for the lathe, and 30 days thereafter for services. FOB Destination. This requirement to be solicited under full and open procedures, using commercial, simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. All offerors are put on notice that in accordance with FAR 5.203 (h), the solicitation will have less than a 30-day response time. Award under this procurement will be made to the low-priced, technically acceptable offer. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) Complete and Fill in the solicitation, including pricing section, ?fill-in? paragraphs, and all representations and certifications, and (2) Provide Technical Information as requested. Please insure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.com) All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which, if received in a timely manner, shall be considered by Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound.
