Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City (NSWC PC) has a sole source requirement for three Radio Equipment Cabinets (REC) enclosures for the development of the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Data Link System (DLS). It is required to convert the REC electronics of the AN/WLD-1 DLS for use on the LCS. In order to ensure enclosure mechanical compatibility for the development of the initial units of the LCS DLS, identical hardware from the AN/WLD-1 DLS is required. Pneumafil Metals Group is the designer/fabricator of the custom built AN/WLD-1 DLS REC enclosures as they are installed on the DDG class destroyers. The Government does not own the technical data necessary for a competitive action. The Pneumafil enclosure is therefore required for the LCS REC assembly. Numbered Note 22 applies. FSC: 5999 NAICS: 334310 Size Standard: 500 Employees
