- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The following is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and supplemental information included in this notice. The quotation number is N00178-04-Q-1073 and is a request for quotation. This announcement constitutes the only quotation being issued. A written quotation will not be i! ssued. All interested parties shall indicate their interest and capability with their fax quote at (540) 653-7088 and shall be considered by Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren VA 22448-5100. All offerors must be advised that they must be active in the Central Contractor Registration database at http://www.ccr.gov before award can be made. The Government intends to procure, on a competitive basis, the following items: A. Liebert Upstation GXT 2U Model GXT2-1500RT120, 4 each; B. Liebert Upstation GXT 2U Model GXT2-3000RT120, 11 each C. Liebert Upstation GXT 2U Model GXT2-6000RT208, 9 each (D) Power Output Distribution 30A, with Bypass (one per UPS) (E) One (1) MLLKU, Multilink network shutdown license, Unrestricted on CDROM. The following salient characteristics apply: (1) True on-line design with PWM sine wave output (2) Input PFC with wide input range for longer battery life (3) plus/minus 3 percent voltage regulation ! (4) Automatic restart after extended outages (5) Input and output noise suppression (6) Emergency fail safe bypass for mission-critical reliability (7) Automatic and manual battery test feature with push button and indicator (8) Microprocessor-based control and monitoring (9) LED display of battery capacity, UPS % load, on battery, on bypass, & UPS fault condition (10) RS232 port with DB9 connector for remote communications options (11) intellislot Communications Port. The Model GXT2-3000RT120 shall also include: (A) 10 foot flexible input cord with NEMA L5-30 plug (B) (4) NEMA 5-15, (1) NEMA L5-30 (on 12 inch cord) output receptacles. (C) Integral sealed, flame retardant, non-spillable user replaceable batteries with fuses, suitable for computer room applications (D) 3.5inches W x 24.2inches D x 16.9inches H (2U), 70 lbs (E) UL / c-UL / FCC Part 15, Class A Model GXT2-1500RT120 shall also include: (A) 10 foot flexible input cord with NEMA 5-15 plug (B) (4) NEMA 5-15 output ! receptacles (C) Integral sealed, flame retardant, non-spillable user replaceable batteries with fuses, suitable for computer room applications (D) 3.5inches W x 21.5inches D x 16.9inches H (2U), 51 lbs (E) UL / c-UL / FCC Part 15, Class A. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335311 with a size standard of 750 employees. The contract shall be a firm fixed price order. Delivery shall be made within thirty days of award to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, Virginia, 22448. FOB Destination Shall apply. Offer is due 10 September 2004 no later than 2 p.m. (local NSWCDD time).
