Description
MOD 02 This amendment is issued for clarification purposes and to extend the solicitation until 7 September 2004. 1. Para 3.1. MIL-E-5400J has been revised to T. Revisions J-T are acceptable. 2. Para. 3.2.2.1.6 of the specification is the Government minimum requirement. 3. Vendors are authorized to substitute their company information on the top two lines of the name plate, Drawing # 3791-25336. (figure 3) 4. Paragraph 3.4 of the SPEC is required. Paragraphs 3.4.3.4 through 3.4.3.8 of the specification are addressed in Mil-T-5422 of paragraph 3.4. 5. All Responsible offerors may submit a proposal in accordance with the provided drawing. 6. MIL-STD-480 still applies and shall be used despite being canceled. Unit is not for new design and was originally manufactured under this specification. 7. Offerors shall provide a qualification test plan, qualification test procedure, and qualification test report IAW paragraph 4.6 and attached CDRL A001. 8. All offerors shall propose on drawing No. 95542-134-056-0001. 9. The solicitation is further amended to allow for 2 Lots as follows: Lot I. Consisting of test reports Not Separately Priced (NSP), and nine (9) each production units. Line item 0001 Test Reports IAW CDRL A001 1 LO NSP Line item 0002 Production Units 9 EA If a vendor has not previously made the item IAW the subject drawing the test report requirement will not waived, and shall propose on Lot I. Lot II. Consists of Line 0001 a quantity of nine (9) each, production units. Line item 0001 Production Units 9 EA For those vendors who have previously provided the same item and can provide proof, the Government will waive the testing requirement providing the vendor has previously successfully completed the required testing, in accordance with the specification. Delivery Date is as follows: Lot I Delivery Schedule: Line item 0001 Test Reports 80 days after contract award Line item 0002 Production Units 190 days after contract award Lot II Delivery Schedule: Line item 0001 Production Units 190 days after contract award The proposal receipt date is hereby extended. Proposals are now due NLT 2:00 EST, September 07, 2004.
