Description

CONTACT Dylan Chung, Electronics Engineer,(732) 532-2788. This market survey is to locate potential sources for redesign a Central Processing Unit(CPU) Memory Circuit Card Assembly(CCA) of the Computer Display Unit(CDU) for the AN/ASN-128B, Doppler G PS Navigation Set(DGNS). This redesign will eliminate obsolescent components of the CPU Memory CCA for the DGNS Computer Display Unit. The redesigned CCA must be compatible with the current existing CCAs of the CDU, the Signal Data Converter and the Receiv er-Transmitter Antenna of the AN/ASN-128B and maintain its form, fit and function requirements. The potential bidder must have the production facilities to demonstrate the capability to develop, produce and integrate the required redesign CCA into an exist ing CDU and meet First Article Test requirements. Successful qualification, to include EMI testing, flight testing and operational field testing, and passing First Article Test, must occur within six (6) months. Our intent is to award a firm-fixed price c ontract to BAE Systems Inc. Wayne, NJ, the only known source to have the required technical data to perform the redesign. The government is not in possession of a complete technical data package for the AN/SN-128B.
