Description

This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set Aside, five-year IDIQ for the M40/M42 Carrier Assembly, NSN: 4240-01-399-3349/3350, P/N: 5-1-2775/2774. The anticipated maximum five-year quantity is 1,200,000 for a combination of M40/M42 Carriers. FO B is Destination. A First Article Test (FAT) is required 90 days after contract award. The government may consider waiving FAT for those contractors that have previously produced this item. If FAT is required, deliveries will commence 120 days after FAT have been approved. The Carrier Assembly is a cloth, duck, textured nylon pouch consisting of sewn panels, straps, quick disconnect rings, etc. for use on the M40/M42 Chemical Biological Mask. Estimated issue date is September 16, 2004. This solicitati on will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(2)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/AAIS/Solinfo/index.htm. CAUTION: The solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailin g list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any said amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments or respond to them prior to the date and ti me set for the bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
