- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA4600-04-T-0185 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 333512 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order for the following services: CLIN 0001: Metal Shear, Quantity Needed: 1, MANUFACTURER: Piranha, MODEL: ?? x 10?. Shear should come equipped with the following Option Packages: Premium Programmable CNC Back gauge Control, Rapid Manual Blade Gap Adjustment with Operator Enhancement Package, Operator Enhancement Package, High Speed Hydraulic Package as well as be equipped with Disappearing Front Stop, Extra Work Support Arm (22? Length) and Angle Shearing Attachment. BRAND NAME OR EQUAL IS ACCEPTABLE.
