Description

The VA VISN 22 Network Business Center intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 13) sole source contract with Datex- Ohmeda P.O. Box 64193 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition is being prepared in support of this acquisition. Datex-Ohmeda shall provide 5/5 Anesthesia Monitor packages (includes accessories) the Network Packages, Component to Aestiva/5 7900 Machines, 3 years Point of Purchase Service Option which includes labor, parts, and travel during the normal working hours and Maintenance Inspections. The Datex-Ohmeda is a unique and valuable advanced monitoring and anesthesia delivery capabilities. It has a System Solution which comprehensively integrates patient monitoring anesthesia delivery, ventilation and information management systems. It has a higher level of connectivity than merely interfacing. Datex-Ohmeda System 5 monitors multiple physiological systems, heart, lungs, guts and brain. The monitor integrate diagnostic cardiac, hemodynamic respiratory, metabolic.nutritional assessment, neuromuscular, gastric tonometry and anesthetic agent monitoring into a single bedside system. Clinicians for clinicians design Datex ?Ohmeda Sytem 5. VA Loma Linda Healthcare System in CA requires the Datex ?Ohmeda System 5. The Government is requesting one (1x) each of the 5/5 Anethesia Monitor Packages (accessories), one (1x) Anesthesia Monitor and 3 years Point of Purchase Service Option. Products shall be delivered in 10 days after award. The delivery terms shall be FOB Destination to VA Loma Linda Healthcare System, 11201 Benton Street Loma Linda, CA 92357. These are the only Anesthesia Machine and Monitoring Systems known that are superior for anesthesia solution required by the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System.
