Description
The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN intends t to negotiate, on a sole source basis with RADI Medical Systems, Inc, 200 Research Drive,Wilmington, MA 01887, a pressure sensor analyzer. This equipment is used as an interface for the Pressure Sensor and is a platform for intravascular physiological assessment. In addition to user friendly features such as a graphical user interface and remote control, the system is capable of realtime analysis and review of pressure and FFR measurements. With the addition of the Thermo Option upgrade, the system also handles sensor tip temperature and Coronary Flow Reserve (CFR). The proposed action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.301-1. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the supplies/services that will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes but responses received on or before September 15, 2004 will be evaluated. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information should be submitted to the Richard L.
