- Description
- The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) intends to enter into a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Information and Library Science, for research services for improving BLS website functionality and usability. Total cost for this requirement is NTE $50,000.00. OVERVIEW OF REQUIREMENTS: The services are needed for a continuation of work on improving the BLS website. This phase of the work will focus on techniques to discover logical categories for organizing webpages on the BLS website and to extend efforts to build highly interactive user interfaces. The work requires a combination of expertise in Federal statistical information dissemination as well as a thorough knowledge of BLS programs and their problem areas with respect to graphical data presentation. This notice of intent is not a request for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government. There is no RFP notice.
