Description
17. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is RFP-0026531 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 01-24. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAIC) code for this procurement is 333924. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has a requirement for the procurement of brand name LEKTRO Model AP8600 Aircraft Tugs, 28,000 pound capacity - qty of four (4); and pintle towing hook for cradle - qty of four (4); include freight charges, on a one time buy firm fixed price bases. Delivery schedule is 120 days ARO. FOB points are east coast, midwest, south west, and west coast which will be determined specifically at the time of award. The solicitation includes by reference the clauses at FAR 52.212-1 - Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, and no addenda apply; FAR 52.212-2 - Evaluation?Commercial Items - Evaluation Criteria to be used in descending order of importance: technical capability of the items offered to meet the Government requirement; price; and past performance. Technical and past performance, when combined, are significantly more important than price. Include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 - Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial with your offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 - Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items applies with no addenda; FAR 52.212-5 - Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items.
