- Description
- The Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, Florida, is soliciting a contractor to provide services as a Medical Records Clerk. The offeror must have a good working knowledge of the handling of medical records and have at least six months experience related to the filing of medical records. The resulting contract will be a base period, not to exceed twelve months, with three (3) one year option periods to be exercised at the sole discretion of the government. The number of one hour sessions is estimated at 1506 for the base period, depending on the actual date of award and the availablity of funds. The solicitation will be available on or about Sept. 07, 2004, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http:/www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed unless determined by the contracting officer to be in the best interest of the government. Future information concerning this solicitation, including any amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about the solicitation. The government may make award without discussions, therefor, offerors are instructed to submit their best offer initially. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
