Description
This is a combined solicitation synopsis. No other solicitation is available. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has a requirement for 90 sleeping rooms and one conference room. Check-in for the sleeping rooms begins 9/13/04 and check-out is 9/18/2004. The conference room must hold at least 350 people and will be used only on 9/16/2004 and 9/17/2004. The sleeping rooms and conference space must be at the same facility within 10 minutes from Reagan National Airport, Arlington, VA. The sleeping room rate cannot exceed the current Government travel per diem rate. Additional requirements are: the facility must be within walking distance to a food court or multiple dining facilities, have 24-hour in-room dining, have Metrorail access to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, have guest access to high-speed Internet, have multimedia support to include a fax machine, copier and other business machines in a 24-hour Business Services Center. The conference room must include working Audio Video equipment such as a projector, speaker system, portable microphones, and a screen large enough to accommodate 350 viewers at once. The rooms must meet all local and state fire and safety codes. Award will be based on meeting the specifications listed above on an all or none basis. The government may elect to pay a cost premium to select an offeror whose ratings on non-cost evaluation factors are superior. This award will be made utilizing the simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13. FAR Part 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52-212-05, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; and 52.232-33 Payment by electronic funds transfer apply. The awardee must be a certified contractor in the Central Contractor Register (CCR), for payment via electronic funds transfer. All interested parties must submit a quote by close of business 9/7/2004. Quotes must include price and a list of services offered including a brochure, if available, showing capability of meeting requirements of this announcement.
