- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make multiple awards for the provision of Inpatient/Outpatient Facility and Physician Services for the Federal Correctional Institution located in Talladega, Alabama. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient hospital services and inpatient/outpatient physician services. The contract type is a firm, fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, with four 12 month option periods for renewal, if exercised. The quantities for the base period are as follows: INPATIENT DAYS - 3 guaranteed minimum days and 48 estimated maximum days; OUTPATIENT DAYS - 15 guaranteed minimum visits and 300 estimated maximum visits. Quantities for the ensuing option periods, if exercised, are as follows: Option Year #1 INPATIENT DAYS - 5 guaranteed minimum days and 50 estimated maximum days; OUTPATIENT DAYS - 33 guaranteed minimum visits and 325 estimated maximum visits. Option Year #2 INPATIENT DAYS - 5 guaranteed minimum days and 52 estimated maximum days; OUTPATIENT DAYS - 35 guaranteed minimum visits and 350 estimated maximum visits. Option Year #3, INPATIENT DAYS - 5 guaranteed minimum days and 54 estimated maximum days; OUTPATIENT DAYS - 38 guaranteed minimum visits and 375 estimated maximum visits. Option Year #4, INPATIENT DAYS - 6 guaranteed minimum days and 56 estimated maximum days; OUTPATIENT DAYS - 40 guaranteed minimum visits and 400 estimated maximum visits. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration’s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
