- Description
- The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Selective demolition of existing DDC temperature control equipment; 2. Furnish and install complete new temperature control system that is BacNet compatible that includes the following components: a. PC based front end with Graphic User Interface; b. Network controllers; c. Field control panels; d. Input/Output devices. 3. Provide interface with existing pneumatic controls; 2. Reuse existing wiring and conduits and provide selective wiring and cabling for new system and components; 3. Provide programming, commissioning and troubleshooting for a fully operational temperature control system; 4. Demolish and replace eight (8) Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). Minority-owned and Women-owned Business participation is encouraged. Construction cost range: $375,000 to $400,,000 Construction completion time will be 150 calendar days from the date after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Evaluation criteria in addition to price will be considered and are as follows: Past Performance; adequate demonstration of successful completion of projects of a similar scope and magnitude as that of the proposed work using information submitted in the Qualification Statement; Supplier Capability; to be performed using information submitted in the Qualification Statement; Project Management Plan and Approach; Project Scheduling, Proposed Project Team and Company Organization; Quality Control Plan/Team; and Firm?s Standard Safety Plan. A Pre-proposal meeting will be held on, September 3, 2004, at 10:00 am, local time, at the Irving Park P&DC, 11560 W. Irving Park Rd., Chicago, IL. Specifications will be available on or about August 27, 2004. Specifications will be provided for a non-refundable cost of $125.00, for all requests received no later than September 10, 2004. The preferred method of paying for prints is by credit card. LDI accepts Master Card, Visa, or AMEX. Orders can be pre- paid by Corporate or Personal Check made out to LDI Reproprinting Center (DO NOT MAKE THE CHECK OUT TO THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE). Mail your check to: LDI Reproprinting Centers, 2200 Northlake Parkway, Suite 350, Tucker, GA 30084-4084. All orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail. This is included in the price of the prints and specifications. USPS Express Mail service is also available at an additional cost. There will be no public opening of offers. All proposal information received is CONFIDENTIAL until award of a contract. The name of the successful offeror and the amount of the contract will be released as public information. The number of offerors, their names, and the amount of their offers WILL NOT BE RELEASED AS PUBLIC INFORMATION.
