- This solicitation is restricted to the three firms comprising the small arms production industrial base, Colt Defense, LLC, FN Manufacturing Inc. and General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products. This action will result in a 4-year Requirements C ontract. FOB Origin. Estimated quantities over the 4-year period are 37,100 each Upper Receiver, NSN 1005-01-134-3701; 4800 each Upper Receiver, NSN 1005-01-454-9880; 163,000 each Barrel Assembly, NSN 1005-01-146-7684; 8,000 each Barrel, M16A4, NSN 1005-01 -454-1629; 131,000 each Breech Bolt, NSN 1005-01-422-3770; 15,300 each Breech Bolt, NSN 1005-01-505-1035; and 30,800 each Receiver, Cartridge, NSN 1005-01-164-3558.
