- *** This modification is posted ONLY to change the Archive Date listed above. There are no changes to the original synopsis or solicitation document. *** The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of comprehensive medical services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution located in Ashland, Kentucky. The successful contractor shall provide community inpatient/outpatient hospital and physician services, as well as, institution-based outpatient clinic services. The contract type is a firm, fixed price, indefinite delivery/requirements contract. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities are as follows: Base Year - 50 inpatient days and 60 outpatient visits; Option Year 1 - 51 inpatient days and 61 outpatient visits; Option Year 2 - 52 inpatient days and 62 outpatient visits; Option Year 3 - 53 inpatient days and 63 outpatient visits; Option Year 4 - 54 inpatient days and 64 outpatient visits. The solicitation will be available on or about February 2, 2004 and will be distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available as the site provides downloading instructions. All future information concerning this solicitation, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site; therefore, interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most current information concerning this solicitation. The anticipated date of receipt of proposals in on or about March 5, 2004. This solicitation is unrestricted and all responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal for consideration.
