Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will compete under the terms of OMB Circular No. A-76, a Contractor versus Government Performance Study to determine if the in-house Clerical services should be converted to a commercial service. This procurement is designated as a total small business set aside. It is anticipated that if a contract is awarded it will reflect a base period of one year with four one-year option periods. A fixed price type contract is anticipated. The RFP will only be available on the FedBizOpps web page at http://www:fedbizopps.gov/. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading the RFP and all attachments. It is the offerors? responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps web page for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. The RFP should be available for downloading on or about fifteen (15) days after the publication of this announcement. The NAICS code for this requirement is 56110 and the size standard is 5 million in average annual receipts for the previous three (3) years. This requirement is for the Performance of the FDA?s Clerical Support Services function. The function is currently performed at approximately 60 different addresses within 41 different cities in the United States and Puerto Rico. The majority of the functions to be performed are located in the Metropolitan District of Columbia area. The activities included in this Clerical Support Services scope of work are mail, correspondence and reports, office automation, travel, office supplies and equipment.
