- This synopsis is for the purchase of 2 Eloptro LH-41C Class 1 eye-safe laser rangefinders. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code is 333314. The Simplified Acquisition procedures of FAR part 13 are applicable to this procurement. This solicitation is to purchase 2 Eloptro LH-41C Class 1 eye-safe laser rangefinders and accessories. Any potential vendors may request the specifications on the Eloptro LH-41C Class 1 eye-safe laser rangefinders and a list of these accessories, which will be supplied via e-mail or fax. Vendors must be able to supply all line items in this solicitation. Contract will be awarded to the lowest bidder. The following provisions in their latest editions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212.1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212.3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212.4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items and the following additional clauses therein apply: 52.222.21; 52.222-26; 52.222-35; 52.222-37; 52.225-13; 52.232-33 and 52.252-2. To be considered for award, all potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. For contractor registration information, call 888-227-2423 toll-free; registration can be completed through the website: www.ccr.gov. Clauses and provisions may be accessed in the full text at http://www.arnet.gov/far/. Quotes may be submitted in contractor format and shall include (1) Company name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and fax number, (2) Solicitation number, (3) Price (including shipping), (4) Number of days required for delivery of the item after receipt of order, (5) Prompt payment terms, (6) Taxpayer Identification Number, (7) A completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification Commercial Items, must be submitted with quote. All Offerors assume full responsibility for ensuring that quotes are delivered by close-of-business September 10, 2004. Offerors responding to this announcement shall submit their written quotes, and Representations and Certification to Lorie Derr, Tucson Sector Headquarters, 1970 W. Ajo Way, Tucson AZ 85713.
