- Description
- The GSA intends to solicit proposals and award a contract to one general contractor for construction of a new building for APHIS and FDA at the U.S. Border Station at Interstate 89, Highgate Springs, VT. The contract will have a performance time of 270 days with an anticipated construction start date of Spring 2005. The work includes construction of a steel frame, masonry, 4600 SF office building to house FDA and USDA. Work includes site, architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical work to construct the building and construction of underground water, sewer, electric and telephone lines. Work includes connection of new water and sewage utilities to two existing buildings located on site. Work also includes removal of an existing metal building, underground utilities and asphalt concrete pavement. This project is being solicited under full and open competition. The estimated price is between $1M - $5M. NAICS code is 236220. Small business size standard is $28.5M Estimated posting date is on or about September 7, 2004. The solicitation, including drawings and specifications, will be issued on www.fedteds.gov via a hyperlink on www.fedbizopps.gov.
