The Government doe not have nor can it acquire data for a competitive solicitation. Acquisition Method Code 3 and Acquisition Method Suffix Code M applies. Therefore, the intent is to negotiate a sole source firm fixed price contract with the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CAGE 98247) for the manufacture of the item by the only know source CAGE 56161. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) applies - Supplies (or services) are available from only one or a limited number of responsible so! urce(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
