Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is being requested. Solicitation number N62786-04-T-0023 applies. Quotes must be received by COB Friday, September 17, 2004. The RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-24. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238210 and the business size standard is $12,000,000 employees. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Supervisor of Shipbuilding, C&R, USN, Bath, Maine has a requirement to contract for elect! rical services. The vendor would be required to Re-Wire Entire IT Infrastructure at Supervisor of Shipbuilding, C&R, USN, 574 Washington Street, Bath, ME 04530-1905 to include the following: 1) Install faceplates with category 5E data module; 2) Install 1 category 5E plenum rated cable to 225 locations; 3) Install surface wiremold raceway; 4) Install surface wiremold boxes; 5) Install Caddy J-Hook system for cable paths above ceiling spaces; 6) Install 6? Basket Tray for cable paths in exposed areas; 7) Install conduit sleeves and fire stopping; 8) Install data telepoles; 9) Install 4 wall or floor mount enclosed lockable equipment cabinets; 10) Install and terminate all data on category 5E data patch panels; 11) Install 4 runs of 6-strand MM fiber in plenum rated innerduct from server room to equipment cabinets; 12) Install and terminate all fiber in rack mounted fiber patch panels; 13) Terminate, label and test all copper and fiber to TIA/EIA standards; 14) Label all eq! uipment; 15) Test results to be furnished to Supervisor of Shipbuilding IT representative upon completion. All work to be performed during normal working hours. Vendor will be required to provide all necessary materials. Vendor must provide Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, DUNS number and TAX ID #. To be eligible for award, vendor must be properly registered in the Central Contractor Registry at www.ccr.gov.
