- The Rock Island Arsenal intends to negotiate with and award to Unigraphics Solutions, (UGS, Corp) of Milford, Ohio, a software maintenance and technical support contract for Unigraphics CAD/CAM software on a Sole Source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) Only One Source Reasonably Available. The previously purchased Unigraphics CAD/CAM is proprietary software programming system currently used at the Rock Island Arsenal. Uninterrupted software maintenance and technical support is to con tinue for the base period beginning 1-October-2004 with two option years beginning 1-October-2005 and 1-October-2006. Interested parties may submit in writing their interest and capability to respond to this notice NLT Sept. 10, 2004 at COB. A request fo r quotation is not available.
