- NA The Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center), in support of the Office of Pipeline Safety, has a requirement for eight (8) add-on software module licenses for WinD.O.T, The Pipeline Safety Standards. These add-on module licenses provide pipeline regulatory and industry standards data in electronic, cross-referenced format for the State Pipeline Partners (SPPs) and the Office of Pipeline Safety. The Volpe Center intends to award on a sole source basis to ViaData Inc., Sugar Land, TX. This procurement will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 13?Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items. This proposed action is for services or supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of FAR subpart 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may respond to this synopsis and responses will be fully considered by the Volpe Center. Interested firms are requested to submit a copy of descriptive documentation in sufficient detail within ten (10) calendar days of publication of this notice. Such documentation will be utilized solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
