- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas is seeking sources for the provision of Dailysis Services for the inmate population at the Federal Medical Center, Devens, Massachusetts. Services to be provided include End Stage Renal Dialysis, 70 inmates, Once per month; Hemodialysis, 60 inmates, 12 times per month; Peritoneal Dialysis, 10 inmates, 30 times per month. These figures represent estimates of required services only and do not guarantee any or all services will be required. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements with firm fixed unit prices. The contract shall consist of a 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods for renewal. A Government proposal to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Market Survey Questionnaire will be available on or about May 26, 2004, and will be distributed solely through General Service Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. The response date for the market survey is June 4, 2004, 2004. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone request or written requests for the market survey will be accepted. All responses to the Market Survey Questionnaire may be submitted in hard copy to U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, U. S. Armed Forces Reserve Complex, 346 Marine Forces Drive, Grand Prairie, TX 75051, Attn: Patrick Hergenrother, Contracting Officer.
