- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) No. M10404. The solicitation document and incorporated clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97.27. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAISC) Code is 112519. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking offerors to provide forty-eight (48) Juvenile female squirrel monkeys and shall be shipped in crates to the FDA in Rockville, Maryland. The Juvenile female squirrel monkeys should weigh around 600 - 750 g. and be in good physical condition and must be worm-free. The following FAR Clauses shall apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by references. 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. Offer must include a completed copy of FAR provisions 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. FAR 52.214-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration. Evaluation/Award will be based on the technically acceptable quote that offers the best value to the government.
