- Description
- This project consists of removal and disposal of existing impermeable liner and sludge, earthwork to install a geo-synthetic clay liner (GCL) system, installation of the GCL system, and fabrication of new galvanized lids for existing manholes. There is an optional bid Item for a Chain link fence. The project has a Government estimate between $100,000 – $250,000. The approximate posting date for the solicitation and applicable drawings / maps will be 8 June 2004 to this same website. A site visit is scheduled for 15 June 2004 at 9:00 a.m. local time. Meet at the location site for a meeting to discuss the project – Payson Lakes Campground. This project is located on the Spanish Fork Ranger District of the Uinta National Forest, Utah County, Utah approximately 14 miles south and 1 mile east of Spanish Fork, Utah (approximately 22 miles by road from Spanish Fork). The start date for project is anticipated to be 19 July 2004. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database and have proper bonding capability before being eligible to accept an award. You may register at www.ccr.gov. ***** NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: This project originally closed for receipt of offers on 8 July 2004. It is being extended through 9 August 2004. Also, it is open to large business for submission of proposals - full and open competition. There will be a show-me trip / site tour scheduled for 20 July 2004 at 10:00 local time at the Blackhawk campground loop A. We will only show the project if a contractor shows interest and calls for the show-me trip, otherwise, we will not show up.
