Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a requirement for Ductwork and Air Handlers Cleaning Services for the Washington, D.C. facility, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis notice and constitutes the only solicitation/written request for quotation that will be issued. The resulting Purchase Order shall be a Firm Fixed-Price. The base period of performance will be from date of award through September 30, 2005, each option thereafter, if exercised, will be for a twelve (12) month period of performance. A copy of the Statement of Work is attached for your review. Interested and qualified contractors shall be extended an opportunity to attend a site visit at the BEP facility in Washington, D.C., on June 8, 2004, at 8:30 a.m., in order to familiarize themselves with the facility and the processes. To arrange for a site visit please contact the Contract Specialist, Lorraine Wilson, no later than Friday June 4, 2004. Interested companies must submit the full name, email address, phone and fax numbers, and name of the company when requesting the visit. Please be advised that upon arrival for a scheduled appointment, attendees will be required to enter through the 14th Street entrance of the BEP. Due to the strict security requirements, one form of picture identification will be required for entry into the facility. Please allow sufficient time to check in through security. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Website at www.eps.gov.
