- Description
- The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for towing, storage, maintenance and disposal of seized and forfeited vehicles in the Southern District of Texas. The vehicles will include production sized cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract with a contract term of a base year with 4 one-year options, for a total of 5 years. THIS SOLICITATION IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. It is anticipated that solicitation number DJMS-04-Q-0013 will be issued on or about April 20, 2004. The estimated response time will be on or about June 7, 2004. This solicitation will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site: www.eps.gov. The EPS provides downloading instructions. All future information about this requirement, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the EPS site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the EPS site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquistion. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (06-APR-2004).
