- Peace Corps Medical Contractors (PCMCs): Peace Corps seeks nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians with independent practice experience to serve as Peace Corps Medical Contractors (PCMCs) in countries located in Africa, Asia, Central Asia, the Caucases, Eastern Europe, and the Pacific. PCMCs are paid contractors who provide health care, education, counseling and manage the Peace Corps Volunteer health care programs in their countries of assignment. Require valid license and national certification. Applicants with overseas work experience will be most competitive.
