- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Charleston intends to issue a Sole Source solicitation to Comtech EF Data, for direct spare/replacement of UP Converters Model 4514; Down Converters Model 4513 and Satellite Modems Model CDM-6000 which are all manufactured by Comtech. No substitutions can be allowed, since the equipment on this procurement must interface with existing government owned equipment for military communications systems in direct support of the USCENTAF warfighter. A Firm Fixed Price Commercial type contract is contemplated. Contract Award is estimated to be September 2004. Delivery or units 90 days after date of contract. Numbered Note 22 applies.
