- Description
- The Government is seeking sources to disconnect, reconnect, rig load and offload transformer at the Navy public works center, Norfolk, Virginia. The transformer with automatic tap changer shall be disconnected from the primary side 34,500 volts, and secondary side, 11,T00Y6640. All mechanical and electrical connections will have to be disconnected for transformer removal. Transformer with automatic tap changer will be rigged and loaded onto a truck, secured, and transported to contractor?s facility. The contractor shall perform all electrical/mechanical inspections and tests on case, bushings, valves, gauges, fasteners, conductors, coils and existing oil of the transformer and lad tap changer in order to determine all problems and required corrections. Deliverables: report listing results of inspections and test, listing of problems, listing of required corrections, and cost to make required corrections. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated, as required by the Naval public Works, Norfolk, Virginia. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying the neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials are owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to so present may be grounds for refusing to accept the proposal.
