- SOURCES SOUGHT/NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT WITH ONE SOURCE. Contractor to provide analysis of fish tissue which the data is shared with local, state and Federal governmental agencies. The analytical process is very complex and requires an ultra clea n environment which Toxscan, Inc., Watonsville, CA can meet the specific need and is one of the few labs using a mercury analysis method that is comparable to EPS 1631 method. EPA 823-R-95-007 (Guidance for Assessing Chemical Contaminant Data for Use in Fi sh Advisory) shall be used as a guide to prepare the fish tissue for laboratory analysis. The period of performance is from date of award through 30 September 2005 and two one-year option periods. The option years to be exercised at the discretion of the G overnment. The proposed procurement is Unrestricted. All interested parties may respond or submit statements of qualifications. Responses must include specific information as to firms capabilities relative to EPA 823-R-95-007. The laboratory must be a cu rrently California certified for the total mercury analysis and the laboratory must have prior experience with the fish tissue processing and analysis per EPA-823-R-95-007. NAICS Code 541380, SIC Code 8734. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action is at the discretion of the Government.
