Description

The Contractor shall provide personnel and other items and services required to perform Logistics Support Services as defined in Performance Work Statement included in the solicitation at United States Army Engineer Research and Development Center, l ocated in Vicksburg, Mississippi, hereafter referred to as ERDC. This shall include but is not limited to, unloading trucks; pick-up of surplus equipment for delivery to Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO); distributing equipment to hand re ceipt holder inventory accounts; local area delivery services; and locating, storing and issuing supplies and equipment. This shall also include but is not limited to, vehicle inventory management, dispatching of administrative vehicles, entering trip tick ets into financial systems to charge for vehicle usage and the reconciliation of billing reports. The contractor shall also be responsible for ensuring that maintenance services and repairs are conducted in accordance with directives and policies of the G eneral Service Administration Maintenance Control (MCC) and U.S. Army Corp of Engineers policies. This shall also include but is not limited to vehicle washing services, delivery of Government vehicles for maintenance, fueling for ERDC in Vicksburg, Missis sippi, Dispatching Services, Data Entry and monitoring of the Landfill. The Contractor shall also be responsible for transporting Government vehicles to/off station locations for required service, and washing those same vehicles in a Government owned wash ing facility the ERDC Vicksburg Site. The solicitation will be issued under authorized SBA 8(a) set-aside, Nationwide. Competition is limited to eligible 8(a) Program Participants. Solicitation and specifications will be available electronically on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office WEB PAGE at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil./contract/ with issue date on or about September 8, 2004.
