- Solicitation Number: W9124R-04-T-0067 Response Date: 7 September 2004, Noon MST The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, has a requirement for service and maintenance of metal shop machinery located at building 3504(W). This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the f ormat in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) PART 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitatio n, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) applicable to this acquisition is 811310 with a size standard of $6M. All prospective offerors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register online at https://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html The contract will include a 12-month base period and (2) one-year option periods. The contract type will be firm fixed price. The government proposes to solicit quotes for the following items: (1) Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to prov ide an annual maintenance of all equipment. Contractors shall propose a fixed price for this service for the base year and 2 option periods. See http://www.yuma.army.mil/contracting/index.html for a complete listing of all machines. (2) Perform minor and e mergency repairs. Include hourly labor rate (regular and after hours), initiated by a service call. Response time for calls shall be within 24-48 hours. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the proposal will be the most advantageous to the Government based on past performance and price. Offerors shall provide company name, address, phone/fax number , and point of contact information on (5) recent jobs that demonstrate experience in maintaining and repairing same or similar equipment as listed on http://www.yuma.army.mil/contracting/index.html Offers that fail to furnish required representations or te chnical information as required by FAR Clause 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
