- A fixed quantity, firm fixed price contract is contemplated for National Stock Number (NSN):2840-01-308-4469NZ; Part Number: 4078304; Noun: Liner, Augmentor Com. There will be three first articles as part of the production quantity and the contractor will perform testing of the first articles. Quantity: 45 Ea; Required Delivery: January 2005; Destination 15 Ea ship to FB6355, 15 Ea ship to FB6141 and 15 EA ship to FB6563; Size and Dimensions: Length approx 15 inches X Width 4.5 inches X Height 0.5 inches; Predominent Material: Haynes 230; Form, Fit and Function: Convergent seal liners protect the convergent seal assemblies from high exhaust gas temperatures. The award will be made to an approved source; qualification requirements are available for this part number upon request. Qualification information can be obtained from OC-ALC/BC, Attention: Source Development Office, 3001 Staff Drive Suite 1AG85A, Tinker AFB OK 73145-3009, (405) 739-7243 or (405) 739-7244. Please note that the Government is not required to delay contract award in order to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. The Government plans to compete the requirement using lowest priced technically acceptable procedures. The Government plans to issue a solicitation 15 days from the date of this notice. Potential offerors can obtain a copy of the solicitation from the FEDBIZOPS web site as soon as the Government has issued and posted the solicitation. To obtain required technical data, potential offerors must use TEDs at http://www.fedteds.gov/. The anticipated closing date of the solicitation is 14 Sep 04. All responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered by the Government. The award date is estimated to be on or about 24 September 2004. See Government-Wide Numbered Notes 23 and 26.
