Description

The USDA Fores Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has a requirement for construction of an 8-foot tall field mesh wire fence for approximately 1.2 miles of new fence construction. The Government anticipates awarding a Construction Contract with a Firm Fixed-Price. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Small Business size standard is $28.5 million under NAICS code 237990. A Pre-Bid/Site Visit will be scheduled and announced in the RFQ package. The solicitaion, plans, and specifications will be made available on or after September 9, 2004, and will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, Offerors must now be registered in the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR). The template containing information necessary for registration can be found at http://www.ccr.gov/handbook.cfm. No Telephone requests for solicitation packages will be accepted. You may request printed copy of the solicitation package by Fax to (928) 333-6357 (or 6362). The Closing Date for responses to the RFQ shall be September 23, 2004, 4:30 p.m. Arizona time.
