- The Naval Air Station Pensacola intends to negotiate under authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Houghton Miflin, Wilmington, MA for 3 books: ?Becoming a Master Student? (Customized Navy cover) ISBN 0-618-20678-7 QTY 1,499 each; ?Becoming a Critical Thinker? ISBN 0-618-12206-0 QTY 750 each; ?Form and Style? ISBN 0?618-41131-3 QTY 570 each. Shipping is to seven locations in the continental United States. Three different delivery dates are specified for each location. Vendors believing they can provide such a product may submit a written response within 15 days of the publication date. No contract will be made on the basis of offers/proposals received in response to this notice. Written responses must include pricing and information sufficient to enable the government to determine if a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued no additional synopsis will be published. Award will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Numbered note 22 applies wi! th 15 days vice 45 days response time.
