- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, requires a contract to provide Cold War Survey Study at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Description of work: Inventory and Evaluate Cold War Resources, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Provide all labor, equipment, tools, transportation, and materials necessary to inventory and evaluate Cold War era buildings and structures (1946-1989) on Fort Bragg. It is estimated that approximately 40-50 buildings and structures will be included in the inventory. Of t he 40-50 buildings and structures, it is estimated that less than 10 will meet the criteria for listing in the National Register under Criteria A or C. A historic context shall be prepared to assist in evaluating the resources. The contractor shall also provide National Register of Historic Places eligibility recommendations, which shall be presented in a detailed report. The study shall be conducted in accordance with Section 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act (PL89-665) as amended. This so licitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 7 Sep 2004, on the Internet at http://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil/. Offer due date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. This solicitation is 100% Set-Asi de for Small Business. All responsible small businesses may submit a bid, which if timely received, shall be considered. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 8999 and North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 541620 a nd the size standard is $6,000,000.00. Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. Note: Any prospective Offeror interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this solicitation must register on our website at http://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil/. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only. Paper copies of this solicit ation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored.
