The current known quantity for this item is 149 each. This proposed acquisition is for a Requirements contract which will be segregated into three (3) program periods with orders to be issued one or more times as requirements materialize. However, this does not preclude the Government from ordering the maximum quantity of 212 each at any time during the requirements period. Destination will be furn ished. Delivery Schedule is 100 days after contract award. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date state d above. Offerors must be approved and qualified. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire these items from other than the qualified source. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. Suggest, that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting op portunities in connection with this procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Request for Proposal will be issued to Teledyne Tech nologies Inc., DBA Teledyne Advanced Mfg Technology, 1425 Higgs Rd., Lewisburg, TN 37091-4401, (Cage Code 26687). All responsible sources may submit a bid/ proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by this agency, request solicitation package from address above, ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LS-M, FAX Number 256-955-7737. Adequate drawings, specifications, or other technical data are not available and will not be furnished. See Numbered Note(s): 22 and 26.
