- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.Request Rental of Tents (3), with liners to sleep approximately 600 soldiers total.Weekly price per tent will include the set-up/tear down for each tent, Electric, Gas Generators, Lights, S afety Package. A separate line item will include cost for Maintenance Calls (price per call). Maintenance will be provided within 4 hours after call. A phone number for Emergency Maintenance (24/7) will be provided, response time will be within 2 hours or sooner. The following provisions and clauses for Commercial Items apply to this Request for Quote: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, 52.212.3- Offeror Representation and Certification, 52.212.4- Contract Terms and Conditions, 52.212.5-Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, DFARS 252.212.7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders. Period of rental is 27 Aug 04 thru 21 Sept 04. All offers are due by 26 Aug 04 by 1600 to D irectorate of Contracting, Bldg T-45 West Street, Fort Drum, Ny 13602.
