THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO MOTOROLA, INC., A LARGE BUSINESS, THE TRUNKING RADIO MAINTENANCE RESTORAL FOR INPLACE INFRASTRUCTURE CONTRACT FOR 12 MOS., PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE 1 OCT 2004 TO 30 SEP 2005. MOTOROLA, INC. CURRENTLY HOLDS A GSA CONTRACT GS-35F-0004L AND PROPRIETARY RIGHTS TO USAFA OPERATIONS, FIRE/CRASH/SECURITY FORCES, COMMAND AND CONTROL, [C4], AND ALL FIRST RESPONDER SYSTEMS. THIS IS A FY05 PLANNING CONTRACT AND FUNDS WILL NOT BECOME AVAILABLE UNTIL FY05 BEGINS ON 1 OCT 2004.
