Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation FA4427-04-PR-50100, is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 01-24 and DFAR Change Notice 200406-25. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 2330 The associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7382. The North American Industry Classification System is 561621 and the associated business size standard is $10.5 million. This request for quotation consists of the following: Item 0001: Kustom Signals Smart VMS with DRU graphic capable message sign trailer with traffic stats package computer. System includes 4vdc batteries, flashing amber violator alert, overspeed blank, removable hitch, directional radar unit. Quantity: 2 each. Item 0002: Axle Lock Cable; quantity is 2 each. Item 0003: solar panel with 4 additional 6 vdc batteries; quantity is 2 each. Item 0001 is to be considered Brand Name or Equal Price is to include FOB Destination charges to Travis AFB. The following provisions and or clauses apply to this acquisition: Offerors must comply with all instruction contained in the applicable clauses to be considered for award. FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation ? Commercial Items: Paragraph (a) is completed as follows: (i) Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement and (ii) price. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items, a completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer. Quotes without this provision will not be considered for an award. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items will be incorporated into any resultant Purchase Order by reference. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Condition Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items include clauses (b) (14), (16), (17), (18), (19), (20), (22), (23)Alternate 1 and (30). DFAR 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions (Dev). DFARS 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program. DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration DFAR.
