- UPDATE (8-24-04) Request for Information All interested parties are requested to respond to the following question regarding the recently posted "Requirements Document": Identify all KPPs, thresholds, and other requirements listed in the Requirements Document that your proposed nondevelopmental egress system will meet or will not meet, i.e., significant development would be required to meet the requirement. Please be prepared to discuss this RFI at the upcoming Industry Day. In addition, please provide a written response NLT 3:00 pm EST on 8 Sept 2004. All questions regarding this RFI or the ESUP program should be addressed to the contractual POC listed below. Contractual POC: Jim Van Oss, Contract Negotiator, james.vanoss@wpafb.af.mil, 937-904-4192, ASC/YTA, Bldg 11A, Room 201-I, 1970 Monahan Way, WPAFB, OH 45433- 7211. //End of Update// UPDATE (8-17-04) Notification of Industry Day to Discuss Draft Request For Proposal (RFP) #1 All parties intending to respond to the Escape System Upgrade Program (ESUP) RFP to be released in October 2004 or are otherwise interested in the Draft RFP are welcome to attend the Industry Day to be held on 30 Aug 2004 beginning at 9:00 a.m. The Industry Day will be located at the Irvin J. Nutter Center in the Berry Room Complex. The Industry Day will open with an update and discussion of the program, followed by an open forum to discuss general questions regarding the Draft RFP. Personnel from the T-38 Flight Training System Program Office (ASC/YTA) will also be available for one-on-one discussions with Industry Day attendees on 31 Aug 2004 and 1 Sept 2004, and potentially in the afternoon of 30 Aug 2004. Both full-day and half-day sessions will be available. Please use your best judgment in determining whether a full-day or half-day session will best fulfill your needs. Please respond via email and/or letter to the Contractual POC listed below by 4:00 p.m. local time on 20 Aug 2004 if you plan to attend this event. In your response, please state the number and names of individuals from your organization that plan to attend. Note that attendance is limited to only three (3) individuals from any given organization for both the general discussion and the one-on-one sessions. Please indicate whether you wish to participate in a one-on-one discussion with the T-38 Flight Training System Program Office (ASC/YTA) in your response and the desired length for that session (half-day or full-day).
